Around The Clock at York Fashion Week

York Fashion Week (YFW) is a biannual event that celebrates fashion in York, England with a week of runways, workshops, installations, and events. The event aims to showcase the creative talent of York, while also supporting and encouraging young designers and brands.

On Thursday, 10th October, Designer Exchange took to the runway at York Fashion Week 2024 with our 'Around the Clock' show at The Impossible York. Showcasing Designer Exchange's curated selection of iconic preloved brands, we styled these incredible models to seamlessly transition their looks from day to night, perfectly capturing this year's theme ‘From Day to Night’.

After days of preparation, unloading stock, organising pieces for both the pop-up and the runway, assembling goodie bags, and running rehearsals, our models took to the catwalk wearing an array of stunning designer looks. From head to toe in Miu Miu to eclectic combinations of Gucci and The Row, the show was effortlessly chic, high fashion with a playful twist. The audience’s applause and engagement said it all!

The event didn't just feature a spectacular show; Designer Exchange also hosted a pop-up shop after the catwalk, offering a curated selection of pre-loved designer clothes, accessories, and handbags from top designer brands. Among the items showcased were standout Loewe and YSL handbags, along with a chic assortment of sunglasses, perfect for completing any look.

It was a great night at York Fashion Week, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support we received. A huge thank you to our loyal community who followed us there and to the new members from the city who joined us for the first time. We’re excited to continue participating in events like this in the future and can’t wait to share more unforgettable moments with you all.
