Launched by the global charity Oxfam in 2019, Second Hand September is an initiative encouraging people to say no to new clothes for the entire month. Their goal (and ours too) is to raise awareness for the harmful effects of fast fashion and inspire more sustainable shopping habits. Each year fashion production pumps out billions of pieces which end up in landfills after just a few uses. By choosing preloved fashion, you’re helping to reduce waste and our carbon footprint - not to mention getting designer pieces for an unbeatable price tag!
