Sell Your Clothing and Shoes

Monday, 06 July 2020

Designer Exchange is pleased to announce we are almost back to full capacity and can once again buy your clothing and shoes. Things are a little different than before but we continually strive to give you the best service when selling your designer items.

There is still no appointment needed so you are welcome to bring your items directly in however you may find there is a small wait outside the door if the store is at capacity. With this in mind, please package your items in a waterproof bag.

At Designer Exchange we do not want to waste your time especially at a time where we would all rather be seeing our friends and family therefore we have spent a lot of time training the store team members to be able to spot the type of wear or products that would be later rejected at the authentication stage.

Everything has a price and can be reused and loved again. However customer feedback over the years has given Designer Exchange refined knowledge for what level of condition customers are happy to buy pre-loved items in. Please see the condition guide at the bottom of this post for a general guide of what condition your item needs to be in before selling.

Designer Exchange has gone completely cashless at the moment meaning when you are quoted for your items after you have booked them in, you will be offered a cash price and a voucher price. The cash price will be a bank transfer only. We are aware that many customers sell to Designer Exchange for our instant cash service however we are not able to give out physical cash at this moment.

Please bring or post your items into our Chelsea store at 328 Kings Road, London, SW3 5UH where they will be booked in, authenticated, priced as normal. You may find wait times are a little higher than usual as we are currently working through the backlog whilst we kept our authenticators safe during lockdown. We ask that you kindly be patient and we will keep in contact with you.
