Designer Exchange Stores Reopen

From today - Monday 15th June 2020 - Designer Exchange stores are now reopen for trading. There are a few things you need to know before you visit your local store. 

We've outlined all our Health and Safety changes in the previous post  -  ''COVID-19: What You Need to Know''  -  however in this post we will be outlining changes that make a difference to how you can shop in our stores. 

Opening Hours and Access
All Designer Exchange stores have changed their opening hours to allow for a safe shopping experience. You may find that you are asked to wait outside until there are less people in store. Please be patient and know that it is for your health and safety that we ask you to do this.

Designer Exchange is also introducing a closed lunch hour to allow the store staff to conduct a deep clean - one of three conducted every day.

With a closed lunch hour at 12 - 1pm, the new hours for all Designer Exchange stores will be:

Mon: 10:00 - 18:00
Tue: 10:00 - 18:00
Wed: 10:00 - 18:00
Thu: 10:00 - 18:00
Fri: 10:00 - 18:00
Sat: 10:00 - 18:00
Sun: 12:00 - 17:00

Restricted Viewing of Products
As a customer we ask you kindly not to try on any of the products and our store staff will be able to offer 1 on 1 demostrations for you. You are permitted to touch providing you sanitise your hands and wear gloves. However please do not 'try on' goods such as putting the long strap of a bag around your body. 

Designer Exchange will also not be offering changing room facilities in the Chelsea store.

In the past the returns policy for in-store purchases has been a 48hours returns window back to voucher as you have physically and thoroughly inspected the product before you've purchased. As you are not able to do this we have changed our returns period to 48hours and back to the way you paid. This means you can conduct an inspection at home and return for a full refund if you're not happy with your purchase.

Card Payments & Vouchers 
Designer Exchange will not be accepting any cash payments and instead will only be accepting card payments. Your vouchers will also be accepted as normal.

Selling to Designer Exchange
Unfortunately Designer Exchange is not accepting clothing and shoes for purchase at this time. If you would like to be directly contacted when this has been lifted please email [email protected] to request this and you will be emailed. 

All other products can be sold to Designer Exchange as normal although we do ask you be patient with us as we will be isolating your items for 72 hours before they are inspected, authenticated and priced. This is imperative for the safety of our store staff.

Your Health and Safety 
If you are feeling unwell and have any of the COVID-19 symptoms please do not come into store - instead please visit the designerexchange.com website. If you are showing signs of COVID-19 symptoms in store, you will be asked to leave and Designer Exchange may need to close the store to ensure the team can react accordingly to strong hygiene expectations.
