A Guide to Spring Styling
With Spring, a season of unpredictable weather with both April Showers and intermittent sunshine, it can often be a difficult period to dress for. But fear not, we are here to help and show you some of our favourite Spring looks, because after all Spring can be one of the best seasons to dress for with interchangeable layering looks.
First up we have the effortless timeless classic, the blue shirt and trouser look. It is hard to go wrong with a staple shirt such as this Max Mara Weekend shirt or alternatively add a bit of interest with a signature pinstripe. Pair these with a trouser of choice, we styled these with Ganni white wide leg chords and Saint Laurent low rise flared jeans. To finish off the look, add a simple but sleek trainer to dress down the outfit, such as these Saint Laurent white trainers or add a pop of colour with these Chanel red and pink trainers.
Next up, we are having a pastel pink moment and what’s not to love? Styled with one of our all time favourite pink cardigans from Miu Miu we have this Isabel Marant denim midi skirt. Denim skirts are back and better than ever and why not make it extra chic with these Miu Miu espadrille flatforms. To keep the pink theme going we dressed it with a Hermès twilly and Celine sunglasses. Our next look is centred around the Chloé showstopper shirt. We paired this oversized shirt with white cigarette trousers and Saint Laurent trainers to give it a more casual feel, especially if you tuck one side of the shirt in.
Moving onto the perfect city break look, as what time of year is better than Spring to stroll around exploring the hidden gems that cities around the world have to offer. Practicality is a key component of this look, with comfortable shoes for all those steps being an important feature. We chose to pair these looks with Gucci faux fur slides and Chanel everyday trainers, effortlessly stylish but also super comfortable, winner winner. To go with these we decided to go with simplicity at its best, a pair of wide leg denim jeans for if it's cool and, if you're lucky to have some warmth, these Gucci flared trousers are perfect. To get that perfect layering we have styled this Chanel bomber, perfectly on trend for the season, and for the other look we have this Maison Margiela sweater with sleeve features that are not to miss.
Finally, we styled the perfect outfit for day to night as the days get longer and the sun shines for longer. These transitional outfits focus on a dressy top and accessories with casual bottoms and shoes. Both shirts are perfect to be worn alone due to their neck line and puff sleeves, giving an added feel of extravagance. Paired with wide leg everyday trousers and trainers that give a sparkle.
