Blogger Series with Laura Blair

Thursday, 09 August 2018

She's known for her love of fashion and great taste so we thought it was about time we caught up with Blogger and Youtuber, Laura Blair to talk all things designer, summer trends and wardrobe essentials.

Describe your style in a few words?

Feminine & glamorous!

What was your first ever Designer Purchase?

My Burberry purse, at the time it was such a big investment for me and I knew it would never go out of fashion. Burberry will remain classic forever and that’s definitely something I look for when purchasing a designer.

What do you think the benefits of shopping luxury items pre-loved?

It means items are a little more affordable than their original retail price which is always a good thing! Having shopped We Buy Designer/ Designer Exchange all the items look brand new so it makes complete sense.

What designer item is next on your Wishlist and why?

I have my eye on a vintage Chanel. It’s something I’ve wanted for an eternity I’m just trying to find the right one! Chanel is one of the brands that never goes out of fashion so you can still wear it in 50 years time and feel amazing!

What is your current favourite summer trend?

The scarf trend. Scarves in your hair, on your bag etc. My current favourite is a black & white floral Gucci scarf.

Minimal or bold accessories?

Either, it really depends on the outfit. If the outfit has a lot going on then keep it simple and chic. If the outfit is plain going bold!

What are your top 3 wardrobe essentials?

This changes each season but for summer I have to say a pair of espadrille wedges. My favourite is the Castañer wedges from Net-A-Porter. A straw fedora to keep the sun off and the hair in place. And a medium size black tote for everyday essentials. I like the colour black all year round it reminds me of Chanel!
