It’s award season! The Golden Globes have got us off to a running start with celebrity fashion that was hot on the runway and ones that were better off staying on the rack. While you and I may not have access to a celebrity wardrobe, we can still have our red carpet moment! We’ve put together some of our favourite looks from the red carpets so far this year using preloved luxury treasures.

The Golden Globes took place on the 7th January 2024 and the awards ceremony wasn’t short of gossip. From the Selena Gomez and Timothée Chalamet photo drama to some jokes about the Barbie movie that were far less of a hit than the blockbuster movie. But as usual it was the red carpet looks that stole the show. Being the first award show of the year the Golden Globes gives celebrities the chance to make an impact and set the tone for their looks this year and whether you were a fan or not, the outfits set the fashion world abuzz. Here are some of our favourite outfits that we’ve recreated using none other than our very own preloved pieces.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish isn’t someone who conforms to the ‘regular’ red carpet glamour, with her style consisting of boxy silhouettes with an edgy flair she certainly stuck to that this year. Billie was sporting Willy Chavarria, in a school-girl-esque outfit. The boxy blazer, collared shirt with a bow and the black ballet pumps paired with coloured socks gave us major x vibes and we’re obsessed! The pieces that we’ve put together were all inspired by this red carpet look from the Christian Dior Blazer to the Chanel Sunglasses, we’re sure that this outfit would be Billie approved.

Greta Lee

Greta Lee at the Golden Globes was wearing Loewe and she was the epitome of Hollywood Glamour. Her high-neck, backless gown with understated glimmering jewellery was stunning and it gets a ten out of ten from us! We’ve switched her floor length gown for this Dolce and Gabanna micro mini dress, although we’ve changed the length of the dress, the high neck along with the silky material still gives it the essence of old Hollywood. Following her trend of limited jewellery we have picked two Chanel pieces that definitely give the look some added glitz and glamour. In these preloved pieces, Hollywood will be calling in no time!

Lenny Kravitz

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about the men. All the men were suited, booted and looking stunning on the red carpet, but for us, Lenny Kravitz in Alexander McQueeb took the award for best dressed male. He wore a slim fit blazer with waist cut-outs and cigarette trousers and he pulled the look together with a pointed toe shoe and oversized sunglasses. Did you love his look as much as we did? Well we’ve got you covered! The Max Mara blazer is the perfect imitation of Lenny’s red carpet look, paired with this statement Gucci ring and these Tom Ford sunglasses, this all black monochrome look will make you red carpet ready!

The Golden Globes’ red carpet may seem like an exclusive realm of glamour, but with preloved designer fashion, everyone can experience the allure of Hollywood style.
