This year, we are turning Black Friday green to bring awareness to the importance of buying pre-loved over contributing to the impulsive fast fashion purchases that will be made this weekend.

Black Friday makes individuals feel the need to impulse buy and usually end up with items they essentially don’t need. According to a Green Alliance statistic, 80% of items bought over the weekend are thrown away after a few uses.

Alternatively, we want to make people rethink their consumption habits and be aware of the environmental issues if choosing to purchase this Black Friday. We believe supporting the preloved industries helps decrease the amount of fast fashion purchases, and reduces the amount of waste generated over Black Friday weekend.
