This collaboration came out as an Autumn/Winter 2022 collection. The collaboration included a variety of products including some of Adidas’ and Gucci’s most iconic silhouettes, from the gorgeous Gucci loafers with a sporty element to a tracksuit that you would want to wear to more than just the gym. This collaboration sees the meeting of two brand histories, with the classic Gucci motifs combined with the recognisable Adidas style. The two brand aesthetics melded seamlessly to create this stunning crossover between designer and streetwear.

Creative director, Alessandro Michelle, pulled inspiration from his fond memories of the 80’s and 90’s for a collection that drew on nostalgia but maintained modern elements. Alessandro has been a collector of Adidas Gazelle’s for years, making this shoe not only a fan favourite but one of his personal favourites too. The style of this collection captivated the attention of an array of demographics, targeting sentimental childhood memories from the 80’s and 90’s, while attracting a younger audience with the bright colours in a modern aesthetic. The Gucci twist on these Gazelles can be seen through the trio of primary colours, which gives a simple yet eye-catching flair to the shoes which normally sport a dual colour scheme. The collection also contains a new emblem which merges the two well-known logos into one, reflecting the balance of both brands’ aesthetics which came together to create this incredible crossover.
