Each year we wait patiently for the outfits and accessories chosen by fashion’s most iconic to emerge on social media and in magazines from the annual Met Gala. Formally known as the Met Ball and Costume Institute Gala, the prestigious event celebrates the theme of the year's Costume Institute exhibition with a black tie event hosted at the Anna Wintour Costume Centre. 
From themes including Haute Couture, Superheroes, Beyond fashion and this year's Comme de Garçons, we have chosen some of our all time favourite looks and accessories worn to the event.
